Fluorinated water-repellent coating agent (water-repellent oil) is mainly used to waterproof internal circuit boards in electronics products. This strengthens the durability of those electronic products. It can also be applied on connectors or switch buttons etc., to coat pins so as to prevent fluxs from flowing back into the switch when exposed to heat and short circuits.
